Jonathan Ortiz, 26, of Norwalk, charged with driving under the influence early Saturday after he was seen by a police officer crossing over the yellow center lines on Wilton Road early Saturday, according to the report.

Ortiz was pulled over about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, and the officer reported that he failed field-sobriety tests.

In addition to the DUI charge, Ortiz also was charged with failure to have an ignition interlock device on the car, as police said he was required to have as of last December.

Additional charges filed against Ortiz include failure to drive in the proper lane and driving with a suspended license.

Bond was set at $1,000 and he is scheduled top appear Sept. 24 in Norwalk Superior Court.
