As another successful Staples High School boys soccer season draws to a close, we'd like to offer special thanks to two important contributors to our program.

Westport's Parks and Recreation Department did a fantastic job getting Loeffler Field in great shape, and keeping it there all year long. It gets a lot of wear and tear, with practices and games every day, but Stuart McCarthy, Tim Burke and their crew made sure it was the best grass field in the state. Their dedication and care all year long is greatly appreciated.

Gault Inc. made a substantial donation to our terrace, at the top of the hill. They provided handsome granite, which now bears the proud sign "Staples Soccer," with the familiar block "S." We appreciate Gault's generosity and support of our program.

We also thank our many fans, parents, friends and alumni who were there for us all year. We could not have done it without you.
