Letter: CLASP appreciates support
The CLASP Homes family would like to thank our many friends in the Westport and Fairfield communities communities for coming together to support our 30th Birthday Comedy Night and making it a resounding success.
Comedians Jon Fisch, Moody McCarthy and Alexandra McHale played to a packed house and provided a wonderful evening of entertainment for all. The Fairfield Theatre Company proved to be an intimate and professional venue, while the Brasserie and 55 Restaurant & Wine Bar provided delightful refreshments for all in the newly renovated gallery space.
This event celebrated our 30 years of providing homes and support services for people with autism and related developmental disabilities who live in our communities. We've come a long way from our humble beginnings in the basement of Saugatuck Church. Today, CLASP provides homes and services for nearly 100 men and women.
In closing we would like to express our thanks to our many volunteers and supporters, without whose assistance such events would not be possible. Dan Woog, Betsy Pollack and Lisa Gray were among the many people who helped to spread the word. We are continually moved by everyone's dedication and the wonderful work they do for us. Whether they be Rotarians, Chamber of Commerce members, parents, staff, family or friends, all joined together and showed what can be accomplished when we all work toward a common cause.
