The Westport League of Women Voters will host a program Friday to help voters learn about a state constitutional amendment on the Nov. 4 ballot.

The "Brown Bag" lunch forum will take place from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in the Westport Library's McManus Room.

The program is designed to help voters understand the proposed amendment, which would give the state's General Assembly the authority, which it currently does not have, to review and revise regulations on how and when absentee ballots can be cast, as well as to consider broader access to alternative voting methods, according to the LWV.

To reserve a place at the meeting, email or call 203-227-6114.
