The Cole Porter's "Kiss Me, Kate" is next up at Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford, N.Y.

This tale of a former husband-and-wife acting team at war with each other while trying to stage a musical version of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew."

"Kiss Me, Kate" opened on Broadway on Dec. 28, 1948, winning five Tony Awards, including the first-ever Tony Award for Best Musical in 1949.

William Michals, who plays Fred/Petruchio, made his Broadway debut as the Beast in Disney's "Beauty And The Beast," and later returned to play Gaston in the same production. He played Javert in "Les Miserables" and had the title role in "Phantom."

Christianne Tisdale, the Yale graduate who plays Lili/Kate, played Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" on Broadway. She is a soprano soloist in major concert halls around the world.
