Kathleen M. Ross, of Weston, died Sept. 3, 2010, at home.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah (Mulligan) Courtney. She had worked as secretary for the president of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. She is a former member and past president of the Saugatuck Garden Club and longtime member of the Weston Woman's Club. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, where she volunteered at church events.

Survivors include two daughters, Maureen Fay and her husband Dudley, and Donna Easterbrook and her husband Tim; and five grandchildren, Rose, Ruth, Joseph, Nicholas and Madalene. She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Ross, and a sister and a brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 35 Norfield Road, Weston. Burial will be in Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. The Harding Funeral Home in Westport is in charge of the arrangements.
