WESTPORT — Once again the solemn sanctuary of United Methodist Church played stage to the magical sounds of the Westport School of Music’s annual faculty show, which took place on Sunday afternoon.

A dozen teachers shared their gifts and expertise on their chosen classical instruments, performing selections of chamber music that ranged from Beethoven to Paul McCartney.

“This concert highlights all of our phenomenal music instructors, who are graduates of some of the greatest musical conservatories in the world,” said Sarah Miller, the new director of the school.

Outgoing director Martha Hisey served in that position for the past 46 years.

The annual concert, Miller said, “is due to the generosity of Andre and Elaine Suan.”
