WESTPORT — The community came together Sunday afternoon to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and to ask itself what he would do if he were here today?

For the second year in a row the Westport Country Playhouse played host to the event, which was done in partnership with TEAM Westport and the Westport-Weston Interfaith Council.

Keynote speaker Tricia Rose, a professor from Brown University, spoke of remaining mindful that American can’t simply become color blind, as historic inequities continue to play out in people’s lives.
