An official of the Business Council of Fairfield County will talk about the impact of the region's infrastructure on the economy during the Friday, Jan. 24, breakfast meeting of the Sunrise Rotary.

Joseph McGee, the vice president of the Stamford-based group, will give the presentation, "Investing in Connecticut's Future: The state of the state's infrastructure and its impact on our economy."

The meeting is planned at 7:30 a.m. in Bobby Q's, 42 Main St. The meeting is open to non-Rotary members for a $12 fee, which includes a breakfast buffet.

McGee is a former commissioner of the state Department of Economic Development and has worked with the business community, civic organizations and government officials in the areas of economic development, transportation, housing, energy conservation, environment, and tax and fiscal policy.
