Get A Taste of Westport and support CLASP

CLASP Homes will host its 6th annual A Taste of Westport fundraiser tomorrow. This year CLASP is partnering with Earthplace in hosting the event.
Many of Westport and the surrounding area's finest restaurants will be showcased, including: Blue Lemon, Bobby Q's, Bombay Grill, Tengda Asian Grill, Saint Tropez, Tarantino's, DaPietro's, Tavern on Main, Rizzuto's, Café Lola, Brasitas, Rory's and Matsu Sushi. CakeSuite, Redbee Honey and Michele's Pies will also being sharing their treats.
Those in attendance will be able to sample fine foods from the various restaurants, speak with the owners/chefs, and participate in the always diverse silent auction with items in all price points.
The evening will start off with hors d'oeuvres by The Cantering Caterer and other special offerings only available during the preview party. Greens Farms Spirits, Connecticut Distributers, Beija Rum, BMC /Jewel of Russia, WestFair Staffing, Crystal Rock and San Pellegrino will be serving fun beverages. And the Bruce Coviello Quintet will be returning with their smooth sounds.
Sponsors include Brooks Community Newspapers, Kesten-Brown Insurance, First County Bank, and Connecticut Cottages and Gardens. Star 99.9, 95.9 The Fox, and 96.7, The Coast will are the exclusive radio sponsors.
CLASP Homes has been serving people with developmental disabilities and Autism for more than 28 years in group homes and apartment settings, in and around Fairfield County. CLASP began with a group of parents who had children with developmental disabilities and their awareness that as they grew, and left the school system, their options become more limited. CLASP's focus is on each and every person to learn and enjoy life to its fullest while establishing meaningful relationships. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit CLASP programs and the people it serves.
