Financial thriller topic of Westport Rotary talk

A finance writer will speak about his new novel the Westport Rotary Club's June 28 meeting at the Inn at Longshore, 260 Compo Road South. The meeting starts at noon.
H.T. Narea's novel, "The Fund," follows a U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency operative investigating the money trail of plotters seeking to implode the world's financial markets. The story is set amidst current real-life challenges to global stability, such as a weak U.S. economy, the turbulence of the Middle East, undiscovered terrorist cells, radiological weapons, the rise of China and Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.
