Duo face charges in New Milford theft

NEW MILFORD ___ A Danbury man and a Brewster, N.Y., man were arrested on Saturday after police said one took a camcorder from the Radio Shack store in the New Milford Plaza on Route 7.

, 38, of Triangle Street in Danbury, and his accomplice William Brolin , 38, of Sheep Pond Circle in Brewster, were arrested after police were informed of a theft at the store. The two men fled on foot in the direction of the plaza's Super Stop & Shop.

Prevost was found to be in the possession of the stolen property and drug paraphernalia and was charged with fourth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brolin was charged with interering with a police officer and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny.

Police said Brolin was deceitful in his answers to police when questioned about the theft.
