Bruce Baber, 55, of Weston, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right shortly after 3:15 p.m. Friday. He was observed crossing the double-yellow line while driving north on Main Street near Willowbrook Cemetery, according to police records.
When he was pulled over, an officer said he detected a strong odor of alcohol on Baber's breath. He was taken into custody after failing a field sobriety testing, police said. Baber's bond was set at $500 and is scheduled to make an appearance July 27 in Norwalk Superior Court.
