Candidates at 1st debate all have plan to fight crime, April 4, A6

A story about Oakland's first major mayoral debate incorrectly reported the details of a 2005 shooting involving candidate Patrick McCullough. He shot a 16-year-old boy in what authorities described as self-defense. The boy did not die. The story also mischaracterized the number of police officers candidate Dan Siegel said Oakland should have. It is 650 to 700.

A story about the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry incorrectly listed his daughter's age. She is 1 1/2 years old.
