A Bridgeport woman has been charged on a warrant with issuing a bad check to a local car dealer.
Erica Labrador, 31, of Sunshine Circle in Bridgeport, was issued the warrant Dec. 1 by police detectives, acting on the complaint of the dealership that reported she had written a $1,000 check to the business, but it was returned as a “closed account,” according to the report.
Labrador was later contacted and asked to make restitution for the amount owed to the dealership, but police said she failed to do so.
Bond was set at $1,000 and she was scheduled to appear Dec. 10 at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
