A New York man accused of attempting to kiss a woman against her will outside a local restaurant last year has been arrested.

Muhammad Jatoi, 37, of Peninsula Drive, Port Jefferson, N.Y., was charged this week with second-degree breach of peace and unlawful restraint.

The woman told police that last October Jatoi "grabbed her in the parking lot from behind and restrained her from leaving while attempting to kiss her," according to the police report.

Jatoi was also "making sexually explicit statements to her," according to the report.

Jatoi turned himself in to police Wednesday morning after learning a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear March 31 in Norwalk Superior Court.
