The Congregation for Humanistic Judaism Families invites families throughout Fairfield County to celebrate Hanukkah with the congregation at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at Bedford Middle School, 88 North Ave.

The morning will begin with a service celebrating the traditions and stories of Hanukkah from a humanistic perspective, according to a release. Children from the congregation's Sunday school will participate in readings, songs and candle lighting, as well as entertain guests with a performance. A party featuring food, arts and crafts and games will round out the morning.

The party will fall on the last day of the eight-day-long celebration.

Jewish and interfaith families interested in learning about the congregation are invited to attend.
