A menagerie of animals is available for adoption at Save Our Strays, 1677 Post Road East.

Among the cats and dogs looking for a home are:

Cotton, a 4-year-old white female cat, spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Tallulah, a 10-week-old Tortoiseshell, female cat.

Charlie, a year-old orange male cat, neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Draco, a 2-year-old white-and-gray cat, neutered.

Bonnie, a 4-year-old white female Maltese mix dog, spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Chip, 1-year-old brown male Lab/German Shepherd mix, neutered.

Anyone wishing to adopt one of the animals will be interviewed by the Save Our Strays staff, along with his or her family. There is a $25 non-refundable fee for references to be checked.

Cost of adopting an animal is: $150 for an adult cat, $175 for a kitten (up to 5 months old) and $300 for a dog. The fees are used to cover the cost of medical care, feeding and boarding animals, according to Save Our Strays officials. Donations must be paid by either cash or credit card.
