UPDATE: According to the state's attorney the case against Justin P. Castelino was dismissed.
BROOKFIELD - A 20-year-old man faces multiple charges after police stopped him for speeding.
Police said they clocked Justin P. Castelino, of Brookfield, for speeding on Station Road at about 1 a.m. His vehicle was pulled over on Whisconier Road.
Police said Castelino had been drinking and that he failed a field sobriety test. Police said they searched his car and found a "substantial quantity" of marijuana, a digital scale and alcohol.
Castelino was charged with driving under the influence, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and speeding.
Castelino was released on $10,000 bail pending a March 3 in Danbury Superior Court.
