Westport Country Playhouse will present The Broadway Boys, a group of male Broadway singers, for two performances 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at the playhouse, 25 Powers Court.

The group will give its annual concert of Broadway show tunes and holiday favorites, with elements of pop, funk, gospel, jazz and folk to its repertoire, according to a release from the playhouse.

The performance will feature holiday songs such as "Hark!," "Little Drummer Boy," "All I Want for Christmas Is You," and "The Lights (O Hannukah)," and Broadway show tunes including "Lullaby of Broadway," "Aquarius" and "Seasons of Love."

The group was created in 2005 to play a single night at a club in New York City, but the response prompted the club to bring the singers back again for another sold-out evening, the release states.

Two members of the band are Westport natives Dan Asher on bass and Drew McKeon on drums. Other band members are Zach Dietz on piano and Craig Mangano on guitar.

Tickets are $30 and $40.

As a community service during all "Winter at the Playhouse" holiday events, the playhouse will collect gently used coats and jackets to benefit the Community Closet of Bridgeport. Collection boxes will be in the playhouse lobby through Dec. 18.
