WESTPORT — Police arrested a Bridgeport man Sunday evening for allegedly driving without a form of identification and — as officers discovered — with a suspended license.
Police said an officer determined a car was unregistered and pulled it over on Post Road East around 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6. The driver, Scott Urlich, had no ID with him but the identity he gave to police was confirmed by a fingerprint search, according to police.
Citing his lack of ID and that officers determined Urlich’s driver’s license was suspended, police arrested the 29-year-old. Urlich, of Court Drive in Bridgeport, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was released on a $500 bond ahead of an Aug. 16 court date.
