WESTPORT — After his driving caught an officer’s attention on Interstate 95, a Bridgeport man was pulled over on the Sherwood Island Connector and arrested for allegedly driving drunk.

Timothy Landock made a sharp turn for an I-95 exit ramp without signaling and swerved out of a lane around 1 a.m. April 2, according to police. When stopped on the Sherwood Island Connector, the officer said he noticed signs of intoxication and that the 23-year-old resident of Courtland Avenue in Bridgeport failed a field sobriety test. Police said a breathalyzer test later showed Landock’s blood alcohol content was over the legal limit.

Landock was charged with operating under the influence and traffic violations of failure to drive in the proper lane and improper turn signal. He was released on a $500 bond as he awaits an April 12 court date.
