Balloting started at 6 a.m. today in Westport, and across the rest of Connecticut, as voters head to the polls to decide statewide and legislative contests.

Polls are open until 8 p.m. Here's the list of Westport's polling stations:

As of last week 16,195 of registered voters in Westport were eligible to cast ballots, according to the Registrars of Voters. Of that number, 5,730 are registered as Democrats, 4,433 as Republicans, 5,914 unaffiliated and 118 registered with other parties.
