The spotlight has yet to fade for the Westport Little League All-Stars.

After a tumultuous welcome-home parade and ceremony where a throng of thousands Monday saluted the team on its return from the Little League World Series, and then trying to settle into a routine in the first few days of the new school year, the team got more national exposure Friday.

The boys and manager Tim Rogers were featured guests on a five-minute midday segment of ESPN's SportsCenter, broadcast from the cable network's Bristol complex.

During segment, ESPN host Jay Crawford re-capped some of the series play that saw Westport, the New England championship team, make an incredible comeback to advance to the U.S. title game, which they lost to California.

Crawford even joshed with Westport All-Star Harry Azadian, who has aspirations to become an ESPN anchor some day.

In fact, Azadian got to do just that as the segment ended, taking over Crawford's co-anchor chair on the SportsCenter set.
