WESTPORT — A Fairfield woman who allegedly assaulted a patient at a Westport medical facility in 2016 turned herself in to police on Jan. 24.
Officers were dispatched to a Westport medical facility on a report of an assault on May 8, 2016 and upon arrival, learned Elizabeth Scoran, 32, assaulted a patient at the facility. The patient suffered minor facial and head injuries.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Scoran and, on Jan. 24, Fairfield Police detained Scoran and transported her to Westport headquarters, where she was charged with third-degree assault and released after posting a $500 bond. Scoran is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Court Feb. 7.
