FAIRFIELD — The annual holiday display at a local home will still go on as planned, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Wonderland at Roseville is a holiday decoration display put on every holiday season at the Halliwell home on Roseville Terrace. The display’s grand opening is 5 p.m. Thursday.

Due to the pandemic, it will be a front yard, drive-by only display this year, the homeowners said.

“We now will broadcast our music to you in the warmth of your car synchronized to our lights as you view our display from the street,” they said. “Please stay in your car, and tune your radio station to 103.3 FM to enjoy the music.”

The display will be available for viewing from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Those driving by can still expect to see the Halliwell family standing outside, greeting everyone as they drive back.

“We look forward to seeing you all again,” they said.

As always, the family has launched a fundraiser to support the Springfield Shriners Hospital in Massachusetts. Donations will be accepted online and on site.
