WESTPORT — A Fairfield woman was recently arrested after allegedly filling fraudulent prescriptions, according to town police.

Kristin Futia, 37, was charged with two counts of second-degree forgery.

A Westport doctor told police he had received a call for a prescription for Futia, one of his employees, that he did not prescribe, according to the department.

He later determined that Futia “had previously filled 10 fraudulent prescriptions using his prescribing license number, two of which were filled in Westport,” police said.

Futia was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in court in Norwalk March 26.
