Weekly spring Migration Wednesday Bird Walks continue at Audubon’s Fairchild Wildflower Sanctuary in Greenwich
The weekly spring Migration Wednesday Bird Walks series continues April 17, from 7 to 9 a.m., at Audubon’s Fairchild Wildflower Sanctuary in Greenwich.
Ted Gilman leads the walks through the sanctuary’s open fields, wetlands and woodlands, all of which provide great habitat for such migrating birds as warblers, vireos, tanagers, thrushes, orioles and others, according to the Audubon’s website. Binoculars will be available for those who don’t have them.
The weekly 2019 Spring Migration Wednesday Bird Walks, which are scheduled through May 22, are free and no RSVP is required. Birders of all ages and levels of experience are welcome.
