Salem Golf Club steps up to help out with 'Taste of North Salem'

Community and fundraising events in North Salem, N.Y., have had to endure the brunt of this season’s wet, cold and windy conditions, making fall harvest activities difficult to host.

So Salem Golf Club has extended its reach to the “Taste of North Salem,” a night of food, friendship and community on Saturday, Nov. 3. All proceeds from the evening will benefit North Salem students. This event is co-hosted by North Salem Middle/High School Parent Teacher Organization and North Salem Athletic Booster Club.

The Salem Club House will be filled with more than 12 local restaurants, music and fun.

“We are always ready to help our community groups and families,” said Scott Garvin, general manager; CCM, CCE. “We are embedded in North Salem as well as surrounding towns and welcome the opportunity to lend our beautiful venue and put our professional staff to work.”

In addition to the event space Salem Golf Club boasts a championship 18-hole golf course, heated pool with extensive Pool House, including a Golf/Game Simulator Room, children’s activity center, luxury men and women’s locker rooms and full fitness center complete with private studio for Pilates and yoga. The 165-acre course offers spectacular views year-round earning Salem Golf Club national recognition.
