Join Quaker Ridge Hawk Watchers for a slide show presentation on the results of this year’s hawk watch season on Friday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m., at Audubon Greenwich, 613 Riversville Road.

An average of 10,000 to 20,000 migrating hawks, eagles, and falcons are seen over Greenwich Audubon Center each fall. Hawk watchers submit daily totals of hawks to ornithologists who are able to observe trends in raptor populations.

Come learn how many of each species of raptor we saw during the season and how their numbers compare to past years. Refreshments will be served at 6 p.m. followed by the slide show presentation at 6:30 p.m. Ages 6 and up are welcome to this free event.

RSVP is requested at or 914-417-5234. Click here for more information.
