CTDOT reports that traffic is backed up for a few miles leading up to the crash. The right lane is closed to all traffic as crews work to clear the scene.

Reports indicated the vehicle might have sparked a fire after it overturned. According to reports, two people were extricated from the vehicle and taken to the hospital.

By 5:20 p.m., the site of the crash had been cleared and traffic was flowing through the area normally again.
