WESTPORT — A crash on the Merritt Parkway on Thursday didn’t yield serious injuries, officials said.
The Westport Fire Department, alongside Connecticut State Police, responded for a two-vehicle crash on the Merritt Parkway early Thursday afternoon.
Officials said both vehicles were heading southbound when one of the vehicles hit the other. After the vehicles collided, officials said one vehicle ended up in the northbound travel lane.
Two people were evaluated by medics on scene and released, police said. Both vehicles were towed and the highway was reopened after crews cleared the scene.
