Where the single people live in southwestern Connecticut

If you're looking for love you may want to head to Bridgeport where 47.8 percent of people over the age of 15 are single and never married as of 2015, the most recent data from U.S. Census.

If you're looking specifically for a male in the 20-34 year age range (the most single age range after 15-19 years), you should try Shelton where 82.6 percent of males in that age range have never been married.

Weston's the spot for those looking for a single female between the ages of 20 and 34; 77.4 percent have never been married. But you're out of luck in Weston if you're looking for a girlfriend between the ages of 35 and 44; zero percent of women in that age group have never been married (though that doesn't account for divorced women).

Across the board in southwestern Connecticut, there tend to be more males in each town who have never been married than females. The biggest discrepancy between the sexes is in Redding where 73.8 percent of males aged 20-34 have never been married and only 51.9 percent of females the same age have not been married.
