Hilary Berger, founder of Work Like a Mother, a service for stay-at-home mothers in career transition, is conducting a seminar from 10 a.m. to noon on March 4 at the Career Co-op, 272 Post Road East, Westport.

She will redefine what the word "career" means for mothers who have left the workplace to stay at home with their children. Women will learn how to identify their best career options based on their own interests, personality and skills using an overview of Meyers Briggs and other career testing methods. Participants will cover topics that include how to feel better in life after many years home with a family, regardless of whether or not they intend to work outside the home again.

Berger is a board certified licensed professional counselor and career consultant with a doctoral degree from Columbia University's Teachers College.

Sign in takes place at 9:45 a.m. The cost is $30 per person. Seating is limited. Advance registration and payment are required. To register, e-mail Berger at hilary@worklikeamother.com or online at hilary@worklikeamother.com. Payments may be mailed to Work Like a Mother, 17 Tannery Lane, Weston CT, 06883.
