Former Staples High School teacher Dick Leonard will conduct a short story seminar on eight consecutive Wednesday afternoons, beginning March 2, from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. at the Westport Center for Senior Activities.

This series is aimed at people who have not yet attended one of Leonard's short story seminars in the past. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Westport Center for Senior Activities.

Leonard taught at Staples for more than 35 years. A former Navy and commercial pilot, he received his law degree in 1982 and practiced law part time.
