'Mixed Couples' comedy staged by Westport Community Theatre
The romantic comedy, "Mixed Couples," will be performed this month by the Westport Community Theatre.
Set in 1927, the producers say the play poses the question: What if the right person you married met the wrong person you didn't? Or did? The comedy unfolds as two couples meet for the first time since they were married -- to each other.
"Mixed Couples" will be staged on weekends from April 8 through 24 at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays. There also will be a show at 8 p.m. April 14.
The performances will take place at Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave. Tickets cost $14 to $20.
Groups of 10 or more can get a $2 per ticket discount, and there is a "Student Rush" discount 15 minutes prior to performances for students with a valid student identification card.
