Cindi Bigelow, president of Bigelow Tea, will speak on the history of tea at the Westport Rotary Club meeting on Tuesday, April 5. The meeting is at noon at the Inn at Longshore.

Bigelow began her career with the Fairfield-based company in 1986 and has been president since 2005.

Bigelow Tea is the U.S. market leader in specialty teas, producing more than 1.5 billion tea bags annually at its three production facilities. Founded in 1945 by Ruth Campbell Bigelow, Cindi Bigelow's grandmother, the company now has 330 employees, but still is owned and operated by the family.

The program is open to non-Rotary members. There is a $20 per person fee for lunch. For more information, contact Dave Matlow at 203-227-3090, or visit the club's website --
