Author Caissie St. Onge will talk about her book "Jane Jones: Worst. Vampire. Ever." 7:30 p.m. May 24 in the McManus Room of Westport Public Library, 20 Jesup Road.

Jane Jones is a slightly nerdy girl who just doesn't fit with the in-crowd. She could be just a typical teen with a hovering mom, but, as a vampire, she has some unique problems, including an embarrassing allergy to blood.

St. Onge has co-authored two books, "The United Jokes of America" and "Maternity the Musical," with Westport humorist Alan Katz. As a television comedy writer, she's worked for The Late Show with David Letterman; The Rosie O'Donnell Show; The Grammy, Tony, and International Emmy Awards; and created material for one of her favorite comedians and heroines, Joan Rivers.

Books will be available for purchase and signing afterward. A portion of the proceeds benefits the library.
