Revenge is sweet for the Weston boys lacrosse team. Weston avenged last year's Class S finals 12-11 loss to St. Joseph with a 7-6 victory over the fifth-seeded Cadets at Brien McMahon High School on Saturday morning. The second-seeded Trojans ended their season at 20-3. St. Joseph capped its season at 15-7.

Weston erased a 3-0 lead senior captain Morgan Faller and classmate Charlie Smith leading the offense with two goals each. Senior Tucker Drimal and senior captain Robbie Cordisco each scored a goal and won the battle in the trenches with six and five ground balls, respectively. Junior Eddie Hutchins was a defensive force with five ground balls and classmate Alex Peyreigne negated the Cadets' 26-24 shots edge with 13 saves.
