Greenwich Winter Antiques, Art and Jewelry Show is December 6-8

The Greenwich Historical Society is hosting the 7th annual running of the Greenwich Winter Antiques, Art and Jewelry Show Friday, Dec. 6, (preview gala) through Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center.

The event, a significant part of the Society’s annual fundraising campaign, will feature 35 exhibitors specializing in fine and contemporary art, estate and vintage jewelry, American and European furniture, silver, Oriental carpets, mid-century modern, important ceramics, patriotic memorabilia, designer handbags and ladies’ accessories, maritime paintings, prints, wonderful wicker and more.

“We’re truly honored to have Bronson Van Wyck, one of the world’s most sought after event planners, join us on center stage as our honorary design chair.” Debra Mecky, executive director and CEO of the Greenwich Historical Society, said in a news release.

Van Wyck, one of the world’s leading authorities on hospitality, presides over the festive opening night reception of the Greenwich Winter Antiques Show, Friday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m., catered by Watson’s Caterers and libations. Tickets available in advance at or call 203-869-6899, ext 10.

New this year, will be the addition of three renown, Greenwich decorators and designers lending their talent to the show by creating vignettes of their signature style. Trovari Home, Patrick Mele and Charlotte Barnes Interior Design will be the featured designers.

The Greenwich Winter Antiques Show is an event for beginning as well as advanced collectors and those who just want to learn more about the material culture of our society from the 18th through 21st centuries.
