Brookfield Properties released renderings Tuesday of a high-end conference center and wellness facility with Peleton bikes and an executive locker room under way at Allen Center, the downtown Houston office complex in the midst of a vast renovation.

The conference space, located at street level in One Allen Center, will include three rooms, each with seating for up to 75 people and leading-edge meeting technology. The rooms can also be combined to accommodate 185 people.

The wellness facility and a bike room with storage racks and access to repair tools, is being built on the first floor of Three Allen Center. They will be open to all tenants and are expected to be completed in October. The conference center is expected to be ready in July.

Developed in the 1970s at the intersection of Smith and Dallas, Allen Center comprises 3.2 million square feet of office space in three buildings. The renovations follow the completion of One Allen Center, which was updated with a two-story glass entrance, reclad skybridge and an outdoor plaza called The Acre. The new phase of Allen Center renovations focus on upgrades at Two and Three Allen Center.

"By being thoughtful in how we integrate tenant amenities into our developments, Brookfield Properties is helping our tenant partners continue to attract and retain top talent," Travis Overall, executive vice president and head of the Texas region for Brookfield, said in a press release.

The project's architecture team includes Morrison Dilworth + Walls and PDR. Tellepsen is the general contractor.
