The Darien Dynamos chapter of Business Networking International recently installed new officers.

During its inaugural year, the Darien chapter shared 700 referrals and closed 280 new business transactions among its members.

To foster business referrals, BNI chapters limit membership to one member for each business category. The chapter is currently interview candidates for membership in business services, financial services, events, real estate related services and health and wellness services.

Leaders for 2010-2011 include Chapter President Jonathan Hefter of Witness Circle Business Coaching; Vice President Charlene Pennella of Daigle Travers Insurance Agency; Secretary-Treasurer Karen Mulreed of Westport Mortgage; Education Coordination Makenna Flagg of Makenna & Company; and Public Relations Coordinators Mimi Griffith of Griffith Target Marketing. Returning as Event Coordinator is Debbie Lionetti of Say Soire. Real estate attorney Harvey Melzer, will again serve as Mentor to new members.

Bruce Baker of William Pitt Sothebys International, Todd Forcelina of Todd Forcelina Architects, and Kate Diehm of Rucci Rurnham & Carta steer the Membership Committee. Craig Flaherty of Redniss & Mead, Ben Brightwell of Rucci, Burnham and Carta, Frank Orzechowski of Cartridge World of Fairfield County and Barbara Levine of Chyten Tutoring and Test Prep serve as visitor hosts.
