Korean culture expert to address Westport Rotary
Kyung Won Pak, an expert on Korean culture and cuisine, will address the Westport Rotary Club Tuesday at noon at the Inn at Longshore, 260 Compo Road South.
Pak, who came to the United States in 1986, is president of the Flushing, N.Y.,-based Taste of Korea, which plans and organizes efforts to introduce Korean traditional foods in the United States. She is also director of the Korean Spirit & Culture Promotion Project, an organization dedicated to promoting Korean history and culture to Americans.
Guests are welcome at Rotary meetings. There is a fee of $20 per person for lunch.
