Keys for the UConn women

1. Get off to a fast start: The Huskies trailed by as many as six points and shot 35.5 percent from the field (0-of-8 3-pointers) in the first half against BYU. They opened 2-of-10 and trailed by as many as seven in the first half against Texas A&M at the regionals in Lincoln, Neb.

2. Stay out of foul trouble: The Huskies are utilizing a six-man rotation, placing utmost importance on the starters playing smart and under control. Stefanie Dolson (four, twice) and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (three) are the only starters who have collected more than two fouls in a game during the tournament.

3. Contain Stanford'S Chiney Ogwumike: The 6-foot-4 forward is going to get her points. She is averaging 17 points in the last two games against the Huskies. But they have to continue to make her work for them. Ogwumike is shooting just 31.6 percent from the field in these games (12-of-38).
