STORY LINES

RECENT TROUBLE: The Huskies are 8-6 in the national semifinals, losing two of their last three games in this spot. Both losses came to Notre Dame.

BIG STAGE PERFORMERS: Sophomore Breanna Stewart averaged 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.5 blocks and 2.0 steals in two games at the Final Four last season. Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis is averaging 19.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in three career games at the Final Four.

NO STRANGERS: The Huskies (15) and Cardinal (12) have made a combined 27 Final Four appearances. This will be their fifth meeting in the Final Four -- semifinals 1995, 2008, 2009; title game 2010.

STEADY: Stefanie Dolson will set the national record by making her 151st career start. Kayla Pedersen started 150 games at Stanford from 2007-08 through 2010-11.

DOUBLE TROUBLE: Stanford All-American Chiney Ogwumike is ranked third nationally in scoring (26.4), ninth in rebounds (12.1) and fourth in double-doubles (26). She has had a double-double in the last two games against UConn (17.0p, 13.0r averages).
