Accomplishment: Won his second straight individual title at the FCIAC cross country championships with a record-breaking time of 15:23 last Thursday at Waveny Park in New Canaan.

FEMALE

Name: Lillian Rappaport

School: Staples

Grade: Senior

Sport: Volleyball

Accomplishment: Defensive specialist had seven aces and 16 digs in a 3-0 win over Trinity Catholic on Oct. 15, 16 digs in a 3-0 win over Stamford on Oct. 17 and 12 digs in a 3-0 loss to Fairfield Ludlowe on Friday.
