The Staples High boys tennis team cruised past No. 7 Wilton 4-0 in the FCIAC quarterfinals on Friday at home.
Staples will face No. 3 Ridgefield at home in the semifinals on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The two teams met once this season, with the Wreckers edging the Tigers 4-3 on April 23.
The last three matches -- No. 1 and 4 singles and No. 2 doubles -- were called once Staples recorded its fourth and clinching win.
