Four Westport junior tennis players -- Luke Brodsky, Tighe Brunetti, Amelia Galin and Alexander Visser -- helped Team Trumbull win the 12-and-under Intermediate Division Championship at a USTA New England event held last weekend in New Haven.

The quartet, all age 10, were a part of a six-person team that defeated 15 other squads from across Connecticut for the title. Farmington Valley Tennis Club placed second in the event, which was held at East Shore Park. Teams qualified for the tournament based on rankings of team tennis matches during the 2013-2014 program year.

Team Trumbull won the 10 and Under Advanced State Championship title last year with the same group. Head coach Mike Slattery has been coaching this group since they were six years old.
