Greenwich High boys water polo team improves to 21-0

The Cardinals went 3-0 in the annual tournament, upping their record to a perfect 21-0. Greenwich's toughest test came from its first opponent -- North Allegheny High School -- based out of the Pittsburgh area. Julian Fraser's four goals lifted the Cards to an 11-7 victory. Tyler Triscari, Ed Moss and Ben Wurst each tallied twice, while Jack Robinson added a single goal in the victory. Steven Michaud made eight saves, one of which came off a penalty shot, in the win.
The second game of the tournament saw the Cardinals cruise past Cathedral Prep from Erie, Pa., 15-1. Triscari had a hat trick, with Robinson, Fraser, Moss and Wurst added two goals apiece. Sam Bass, Nick Hyden and Jack Kerwin each had one goal for the Cardinals. Alex Jahns had three saves and two assists in goal.
Greenwich closed out the tourney by downing Cumberland Valley, 15-7. Triscari scored five times, Hyden had a hat trick and Robinson tallied twice for the victors. Fraser, Moss, Tyler Swift, Alex Zim and Darius Asgari each had one goal in the winning effort. Michaud and Jahns combined to make eight saves in goal. Greenwich will host its annual Cardinal Tournament this weekend.
