The Staples girls soccer team is looking for a new coach after Heather Driscoll resigned from her post in January, according to athletic director Marty Lisevick.

Driscoll is expecting her second child in August and increased family demands led her to the decision, according to Lisevick. Driscoll went 13-17-4 with a pair of state tournament appearances in her two seasons as Wreckers coach.

"Heather did a great job here," Lisevick said. "I thought our team improved rapidly during her two years, and we will reap the benefits of that during the next several years here at Staples."

The Wreckers are actively seeking a new coach. Those interested in the job may contact Lisevick at (203) 341-1263.
